Calling all performers aged 7 – 21!
This summer is designed for young performers who are ready to take their performing seriously.
BRILL!ANT Theatre Youth Group Productions and The Eric Morecambe Centre are proud to present our Brilliant Theatre Summer intensive 2026!
Join us for TWO intensive projects this summer:
WEST END MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE: 27th July - 1st August 2026, 9AM - 5PM (ages 7 - 21)
ADVANCE ACTING - BECOMING A BETTER ACTOR : 3rd August - 8th August 2026, 9AM - 5PM (ages 11 - 21)
Our professional, highly-trained Creative Teams will help you expand your performing skills, knowledge and techniques, you will work intensively on a performance, and create a community of passionate young performers. Spend each week crafting your skills in a professional theatre environment (the beautiful Eric Morecambe Centre) before performing to a live audience.

WEEK ONE:
WEST END MUSICAL THEATRE WEEK
27th July - 1st Aug 2026, 9AM - 5PM
Ages 7 - 21 (60 spaces)
£250 (£6.25 per hour) + ticketsource booking fees
Join us for a week of workshops, technique classes and audition level preparation. Celebrating all the shows we'd love to do! Featuring Beetlejuice, Hadestown, Heathers, and much more!
Students will receive detailed feedback from tutors working in the professional industry, creating safe mock west end standard audition environments, all under the guidance of performers from those shows. All this while working together to create beautiful pieces of musical theatre for a live showing of your work on the last day.
WEEK TWO:
ADVANCED ACTING WEEK
3rd Aug - 8th Aug 2026, 9AM - 5PM
Ages 11 - 21 (30 spaces)
£250 (£6.25 per hour) + ticketsource booking fees
This week is designed for students who already have performance experience and are ready to be challenged. Work intensively with our professional Team. Learn text under pressure, character depth learn rehearsal discipline create a play in five days - Explore classic the classic text of Treasure Island!


FAQs
Is it a stay-over camp? Nope - sessions will take place at the Eric Morecambe Centre Harpenden, every day of the project 9AM - 5PM.
Do you have to audition? No - this experience is open to anyone. We will hold workshop days to say hi to all participants and introduce some of the material on 1st and 8th March, 2026. Those wishing to apply for solo singing, dance, or speaking roles should plan to attend these.
What do I need to bring on the workshop day? Bring: Plenty of water, a nut free snack, and any emergency meds. Wear: Comfortable clothing and trainers / dance shoes for movement.
What is the fee? Fee: Musical Theatre Week - £225 Acting Week - £240 This helps cover production costs like performance rights, costumes, rehearsal space, theatre hire, and hiring our professional Creative team.
